One of My All Time Favorite Cards!

Hello Everyone!

I want to share with you one of my all time favorite cards.  The layout I CASED from my friend Teresa Buckholz.  Of course, I had to make mine purple.

It's a little hard to see, but I used the Stylish Stripes embossing folder on the Whisper White panel.  The flowers are stamped using the Stippled Blossom stamp set.  I used Wisteria Wonder as the solid stamp and Elegant Eggplant as the design stamp of the two-step stamping set.  Pear Pizzazz is the color of the leaves.  The sentiment is from Wetlands.  That set has wonderful sentiments!

I used the ovals framelits to cut out the focal piece and the Apothecary framlit to cut the Elegant Eggplant piece.  I used dimensionals to pop it and then finished it off with rhinestones.

Hope you enjoyed this card.

I want to let you all know what's been going on with me.  As of September 2014, I have moved back to Denver, Colorado from Rock Hill, South Carolina.  It's good to be home again.

Thanks for looking!

Playing Around With A Round Array

I thought the stamps were so pretty in A Round Array stamp set.  This is another card I used as a swap at Convention.  It uses the In Colors from 2011-2013.  I'm going to be VERY sad to see these colors go as I REALLY like bold rich colors.  I like that this can be used as an all occasion card since it has no sentiment.

Here's the card:

You wouldn't BELIEVE what I had to do in order for this photo to appear in the correct direction.  When I initially took the photo, I edited it to turn it once.  When I uploaded the photo, it was turned in the original direction, so I had to re-edit the photo, make it lay on its "back" and then when I uploaded it again, it was sitting correctly.  Go figure!!!  At least I know what to do so you don't have to turn your head to the side to see the photo!!!  LOL

I used the Square Lattice embossing folder on the main panel and the Fancy Fan embossing folder on the focal piece.  The Butterfly is from Papillon Potpourri, punched with the Bitty Butterfly punch and then another bitty butterfly punched from Midnight Muse and sitting slightly higher than the stamped butterfly.  The medalions from A Round Array were punched using the 7/8" scallop circle punch and the one inch circle punch behind that.  All of the pieces are popped with dimensionals.

I hope you enjoy this card, and if you need to order anything I used on this card, you can shop in my on-line store.

Another Swap Card

It was wonderful seeing my friends from Denver, CO.  I really miss those ladies!!  They are INCREDIBLE stampers!!!

I'm sharing another one of my swap cards.  I CASED it from Wanda Pettijohn and she CASED it from someone else.  I added the Rich Razzelbery border to make it pop a little more.  I made "faux candy dots" by punching the 3 dots from the Cupcake Builder punch.

I love the pansy flowers from Flower Shop.  They are Rich Razzelbery, Daffodil Delight and Strawberry Slush.  The leaves are die cut out of Old Olive using the Secret Garden dies.  The sentiment is from Perfectly Penned.  I cut off the last two leaves from each stem and mounted the flowers and leaves using dimensionals.

Products used:

Stamps:  Flower Shop (#130942 clear, #130939 wood), Perfectly Penned (#122892 clear, #128703 wood)

Ink:  Rich Razzelberry (#126950), Daffodil Delight (#126944), Strawberry Slush (#131178)

Cardstock:  Whisper White (#100730), Rich Razzelberry (#115316) and Old Olive (#100702)

Accessories:  Secret Garden dies (#129372), Pansy punch (#130698), Dimensionals (#104430)

My Swap Cards From Convention

I didn't make as many swap cards as I have in the past, but still managed to make about 170 this year.  This card is one of my all time favorites.  I got the focal piece from the catalog on page 64.  It's on a bag in the catalog, so I measured (more than once) to figure out how they did it and finally came up with it.  It measures 3 1/16 x 4 ¾.  Here's the card:

I died the white organza ribbon with 70% alcohol and 15 drops of Wisteria Wonder reinker.  Of couse, I popped the focal piece with dimensionals.  I love the new Beautifully Baroque embossing folder and it looks beautiful on either side!

Products used:

Stamps:  Stippled Blossom (#126747 clear, #132076 wood) and Wetlands (#126697 clear, #126695 wood)

Cardstock:  Whisper White cardstock (#100730), Wisteria Wonder (#122922)

Ink:  Wisteria Wonder (#126985) and Pear Pizzazz (#131180), Wisteria Wonder Reinker (#122931)

Accessories:  Beautifully Baroque embossing folder (#130917), Window Frames Collection (#129021), Ribbon (#114319), Dimensionals (#104430), Stampin' Spritzer (#126185), 70% Rubbing Alcohol.
